Individual - Family - Group

Individual, family, and group-based therapy are available. Therapy is positive, strength based and focused on achieving and maintaining objectives. By establishing a relaxing, confidential environment, Saco River Health Services will assist its clients in defining and achieving their goals. Frequency and length of service will be determined by client and clinician, based on needs and availability. Clients may use state programs and private reimbursement for payment for services.

Our Counselors
 

David Appell, LCSW, CCS, LADC
He has an M.S.W. from UNE, and is a Certified Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. David is a psychotherapist who has been working with children, adolescents and adults for over 15 years. David has experience in a wide variety of disorders including OCD, ADHD, Anxiety, PTSD, and Depression. He has training and experience in family and group therapy.

 
     

Diana Del Zoppo, LCPC
Diana has been working with kids and families since 1994. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, childhood trauma/abuse recovery, and dialectical behavioral therapy, among other things. She has been involved in a parent support group, as well as an eating disorder group. Diana has experience in teaching social pragmatics, and loves group therapy work.

 
     

Stacia N. Fitch, LCSW, LADC, CCS
Stacia received her master's degree from Boston University School for Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has worked in the mental health and addiction fields for almost 20 years employing an eclectic practice utilizing a variety of treatment modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, harm reduction and EMDR. These varied treatment approaches have enabled her to work with clients eighteen years of age and older and their families in both short and long term therapy. Stacia specializes in treating addiction and other co-occurring disorders including substance abuse, gambling, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD and various forms of trauma. Other professional areas include working as a clinical consultant to various schools in special education and mental health and substance abuse treatment programs assisting with staff education and supervision and program development.

Stacia is also a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) with the Maine Office of Substance Abuse, a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) with the Department of Transportation, and an adjunct professor with the University of Southern Maine School of Social Work.
